Simple and affordable RC transmitter for many models
Easy to start with yet flexible for advanced hobby projects, it works with aeroplanes, gliders, multirotors, RC cars, boats and robots.
Range of up to 2000 metres
FHSS spread spectrum with 67-channel pseudorandom frequency hopping gives stable transmission and good interference protection, with a specified control range of about 2000 metres in the air under open conditions; actual range varies with model, installation, antenna placement and surroundings.
High precision in control
4096 channel resolution and 0.25 µs precision per section, plus an optimised circuit-board layout, give low PWM jitter and a precise control signal where small movements and smooth response matter.
Parameter setup via app or USB
Parameters can be set via an Android or iOS app over Bluetooth or via a computer with a USB cable, and firmware can be upgraded over USB.
- The firmware program for the T8FB is compatible with Windows XP, Windows 7, Windows 8 and Windows 10
- The parameter app supports both Android and iOS
- The app’s language adapts automatically to the language of the mobile phone
Built-in real-time telemetry
Real-time feedback of transmitter voltage and RSSI is supported, and with compatible receivers such as the R16F, R8FGH, R8FG or R7FG, model voltage can be shown in the mobile app.
Programmable mix control
Channels 5 to 8 can be programmed for advanced settings, and for PIX-based systems flight modes are controlled via two 3-position switches by default, keeping the T8FB easy for beginners.
Support for several model types
The T8FB adapts its layout to the selected mode, and the included R8EF receiver has a 210 mm antenna that also suits RC boats where stable reception matters.
- Aeroplanes
- Gliders
- Multirotors
- RC cars
- RC boats
- Robots
R8EF receiver with PWM, SBUS and PPM
The R8EF receiver supports PWM, SBUS and PPM for flexible installations with fewer extra cables, and with SBUS and PPM signals, channels 3 to 8 can simultaneously output the corresponding PWM signals for functions such as pan/tilt and landing gear.
Low power consumption
A switched-mode power supply (SMPS) keeps the operating current below 80 mA, and a 3S 1800 mAh LiPo battery is stated to last more than 20 hours.
Wide operating voltage and flexible power supply
A wide operating voltage and a universal JST connector make the T8FB easy to use with several battery configurations.
- 4 AA batteries
- 2S–4S LiPo battery
- 18650 lithium battery
Wide receiver compatibility
The T8FB comes with two R8EF receivers and is also compatible with several other RadioLink receivers.
- R8EF, standard receiver
- R16F
- R16SM
- R12F
- R8FM
- R8SM

Good to know
Maximum range is tested in open, interference-free areas and varies with model, installation, antenna placement and surroundings; app setup needs a compatible device and Bluetooth, firmware upgrade and computer setup need a USB cable and compatible software, and the simulator function needs a compatible receiver and correct connection, so always check receiver, signal type, model type and channel settings before use.
