Description
Shorty is an easy-to-build trainer model with excellent slow flight characteristics. The wings are built on a slipway using prefabricated profiles. The maneuverable model is controlled using elevator and rudder.
Due to the extremely low flight speed, Shorty is very well suited to learning to fly with a motor model. The very detailed assembly instructions with 3D construction stage drawings guide you through the entire construction. Covering paper for covering the tail unit is included in the kit, and the assembly instructions also contain a detailed video tutorial in which the covering of the tail unit is explained.
The kit contains: All components made of lasered wood, small parts, linkages, covering paper for tail units, undercarriage with wheels, 3D assembly instructions.
A tow coupling can be installed as an option, the parts for which are already included in the kit. Only one additional servo AN-12-MGBBA is required. With the tow coupling, smaller glider models such as the Lilienthal 40 can be towed to their starting altitude. An ideal trainer for anyone who wants to learn how to tow larger aircraft.
