The spinner series for aerodynamic top performance.

The Z spinners combine the advantages of the CN spinners (Cool Nose with cooling air openings) and the cranked Z center pieces. Due to the angled aluminum center pieces, the folding propeller blades lie even closer to the fuselage and thus ensure less drag during gliding. The spinners with the center pieces are designed for slim electric glider hulls, but can also be advantageous for wooden hulls in box construction, for example, if they are ground round.

The center pieces of the spinner sizes 38, 40 and 42mm are interchangeable, for example 38mm spinner caps can be operated with the center piece of the 42mm spinner. These possible combinations result in further potential for optimization, since finer tuning to the respective fuselage is possible. The 30mm spinner has its own center piece that cannot be combined with the other spinner caps.

The Z-Spinner contains a spinner cap (diameter 38mm) made of white plastic (very easy to paint), milled aluminum center piece with integrated mount for the clamping cone, special prop rubber for folding the propeller blades, assembly screws for spinner cap and propeller blades.

The diameter of the spinner cap is 38 mm. The center distance (d) of this spinner is 32 mm. This means that the diameter of the propeller blades is reduced by 10mm (0.39″). Example: A propeller with a diameter of 12″ has an effective diameter of 11.61″ at this center piece (the size specifications for folding propellers always refer to the use of a center piece with a center distance d=42 mm).
