Description
The Vought F4U Corsair is one of the most iconic warbirds of World War II and the Korean War. The Corsair is renowned for its impressive speed, high climb rate, and firepower.
Powerful Propulsion
The brand-new 1700mm F4U Corsair V3 from FMS is powered by a 6S power system, a Hobbywing 80A ESC, a 5060 motor, and an 11×18 4-blade propeller. In addition to its brute power, trainer-like slow-flight characteristics make the Corsair one of the easiest warbirds to fly on the market.
Pre-installed Electronics
The model is constructed from EPO foam and comes fully pre-installed with all electronics ready to fly right out of the box. The motor, ESC, servos for ailerons, rudder, and elevator, as well as the flaps and retractable landing gear, are all pre-installed. All that’s needed is a suitable battery and radio system.
Like the real thing
The FMS F4U Corsair comes with numerous scale details such as dummy missiles, fuel tanks, antennas, exhaust systems, a pilot figure, and many other scale details that make the aircraft look just like the real thing. Rotating retractable landing gear, flaps, slow-retracting landing gear doors, and landing lights provide a realistic flying experience. The shock-absorbing metal landing gear with large wheels not only looks great but also allows for takeoffs and landings on unpaved runways.
