Description
This building kit is redesigned with the greatest care by Dane-RC, to keep the elegant look and fell intended by the original creator; Dick Twomey. This model is a pleasure to both assemble and fly, due to the high precision parts that interlock perfectly. The kit includes all wooden parts needed for the assembly, motor and foil bought separately.
To coat the Micro leprechaun V3 we recommend that you use Oracover, it does not tighten so hard during installation and will not damage the thin ribs. You will need about 2 mtr of foil in the base color and about 0,25 mtr in the contrast color, to make it as Dane RC version. The foil we have used on our Leprechaun is for base Oralight transparent yellow and for contrast Oralight blue
The model can be built as a glider or as a motorized glider, if a motor is chosen, we recommend a 5-10 gram motor with a folding propeller with 25 mm spinner
If you choose NANO 5GS, you must be aware that the shaft is only 1.5 mm and all our spinners have a 2.0 mm hole
Includes:
- Laser-cut parts in plywood and balsa
- Extra wood for complete plane
- Drawing of plane in 1:1
- Nose i wood motor/glider
