Lightweight “free flowing” white powder which is mixed with polyester or epoxy resin to make an easy sanding strong filler.

Can also be used to create snow effects (smaller than 1:48) with Scatter Grip glue (AD25).

Microballoons are air-filled “glass bubbles” that are used as a light “filler” when mixed with a binder, such as glue or epoxy. Because microballoons are empty air-filled “glass bubbles”, it provides a workable consistency with low density. They work a bit like adding millions of small air bubbles that give more to work with, without extra weight. Once your microballoons are mixed with your epoxy, it will shorten the curing time quite a bit. Be aware that microballoons are incredibly dangerous to inhale.
