Description
Kit of high performance thermal glider with span of 1990mm category F3-RES 2M in plaster. Very light classic all-balsa construction, fuselage with balsa gondola and light plywood with carbon tail beam. Controlled rudder, elevator and aerodynamic brake.
The RES model RESCO was designed and manufactured in the Czech Republic.
The front part of the fuselage is made of balsa and light plywood as a box construction. The space for the rudder and tailplane servos is in the fuselage under the removable canopy. The tail boom of the fuselage consists of a conical carbon tube with pads for attaching the tail.
The three-piece wing with a modified AG profile consists of a classic construction with balsa ribs and D-box skinning. The main spar is made of pine slats with a balsa plywood construction, which ensures great structural strength and at the same time a very low weight.
The wing ears with the elegant winglets are attached to the center section with carbon connectors and beech pins. Magnets serve as a fuse.
In the middle part there is a brake flap.
The wing is attached to the fuselage with plastic screws.
The tailplanes are CNC cut balsa parts and not profiled. The tailplane is removable for easy transport and is attached to the fuselage tube with plastic screws. The rudders are controlled with Bowden cables.
