Product description and features

Electronic safety power switch for electric power systems. An anti-flash-circuitry prevents the sparks during connecting the battery.

The SPS SafetyPowerSwitch separates the motor from the battery. The electric motor drive remains inactive and therefore non hazardous until activation.

For 2S up to 16S LiPo batteries (6V to 70V). 140A continuous current and 280A peak current Suitable e. g. for IMAC models.

Battery and controller side: 2 AWG11 silicone connection cables each.

SPS switch actuator for switching on and off

For switching on and off the SPS SafetyPowerSwitch an additionally available SPS switch actuator is necessary (see “Accessories” tab). The SPS switch actuator is not included within delivery contents. The following SPS switch actuators are available:

• SPS gas cap switch actuator (green LED)
• SPS gas cap switch actuator (blue LED)
• SPS pin switch actuator
• SPS remote switch actuator

ATTENTION: There must be no electrical connection between the negative pole of the drive battery and the receiver or the receiver power supply! When using some telemetry sensors, a ground connection is made through the sensor or its electronics. This can damage the receiver. When using such products, the use of the SPS SafetyPowerSwitch is not possible!
