PROPERTIES

• Forms a strong but at the same time flexible adhesive bond with thermoplastic properties
• Temperature-resistant between -30 °C to approx. +90 °C and waterproof, resistant to oil and alcohol.

SCOPE OF APPLICATION
SUITABLE FOR:

UHU plast special sticks very well to various plastics, such as polystyrene and impact-resistant types of polystyrene (ABS, SAN, SB, ASA), hard and soft polyvinyl chloride (PVC), Plexiglas® (PMMA), Zelluloid®, cellulose ester (CN, CAB), Polycarbonate (PC). UHU plast spezial also glues other materials such as wood, paper and cardboard (in connection with the plastics mentioned above).

NOT SUITABLE FOR:

Not suitable for polyamide (PA), acetal resin (POM), polyethylene (PE), polypropylene (PP), polytetrafluoroethylene (PTFE), silicone (Si) and expanded polystyrene (will be attacked).

UHU plast special contains volatile and highly flammable solvents. You should therefore take appropriate safety precautions when handling and storing the adhesive.

Instructions for use

Apply the adhesive to one or both of the materials to be bonded, as required, and immediately bond them together. Initial adhesion is achieved after 5 – 10 minutes. A high final strength of UHU plast spezial is achieved by dissolving the plastic surface. For this reason, the adhesive should only be applied in small quantities to thin-walled plastics.

stains/residue

Smeared adhesive and stains can be removed with acetone or nitro lacquer thinner. Test on an inconspicuous area first.

storage conditions

Store in well sealed packaging in a dry, cool and frost-free place.
